more northern ontario

I went into this area a couple of weeks ago to go camping and had a chance to go back and explore a bit. The area is located near Kenora Ontario which is on the Lake of the Woods. The first 2 pictures show the road in and the 2 after that show the road a bit further on that we explored the 2nd day.




The next picture shows a headstone we found the next campsite over from where we set up.

The next 2 pictures show the campsite where my friend and I stayed for 2 night and 3 days, even though it's Oct the days were warm enough to sit around jacket free. and no bugs.


The last picture shows a campsite we found while out exploring, we took a 30 minute side trip up a trail and when we reached the end we found a crystal clear lake and a campsite on a sandy beach, very nice.
