I drove to Cedar City UT. for some business. I camped out at the Virgin River gorge campground - Cedar Pockets. Nice place. No water. No privacy, but the view is great.

Then down to Valley of Fire State Park. Great place for camping. Water, showers, woof, woof!!

It is so beautiful down there! I'm curious what the weather has been like for you down by Lake Mead?? We are headed out to road test the Chateau before seriously building and I was considering coming down that way but the girlfriend is concerned it will be too cold to enjoy. We are headed out the day after Thanksgiving and will be free from work for 10 days. Thanks for sharing the great pictures!

Lake Mead is a great place to camp. This time of year it is going to be hit or mis with the weather. Big Bend Rec. area in just below Laughlin NV. It is warmer there. I am just about to go there myself and then work my way back to Boulder Beach at Lake Mead for New Year!

Also – while camping at Callville Bay one night we had a Dutch Oven Turkey with all the fixings! Wow, wow! Great Food.

I just bought a vintage 1959 Aloha travel trailer. I am so excited that I can't sleep! I am leaving tomorrow to drop my Teardrop off at a friends house. Then leave Thursday AM and go get the puppy. I will take photos and all that of the return trip. Then I will have to sell my Teardrop.

Here is the 1959 Aloha. I love it!! It is so cool. I did not get out of Baker City, OR. without two people commenting on how cool it looked. Being that it is 52 years old. It needs a bit more work to get it to where I would like to see it. But overall it is in pretty darn great condition.
