This was our 1st trip with Spot, and our 2nd year in attendance at the Antique & Classic Boat Society (ACBS) meet in Hammondsport, NY.

Our boat wasn’t “dialed inâ€

Congratulation on the win, and Spot looks great out and camping.

Thanks! We had a great time out camping, but very few people commented on Spot. If course, Spot was pretty well hid!

Congratulations on your unexpected win! That must've been quite a thrill. Congratulations, also, on your first outing with Spot. I wouldn't worry about people looking at Spot at a boat show. Probably all eyes were on those beautiful boats. But, attend a teardrop gathering and stand back! Everyone will come to see it. Enjoy! :applause:

Actually the campground was 14 miles by water from the boat show. That was one of the fun aspects to camping at the state park and going to the show Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Go by boat! Our boat fails in comparison to any of the other ones that were there, but it's fast. :)

A few people at the park asked about Spot, but we were there 10 days and it was somewhat uprising people at least didn't feel sorry for us...

We sure had a good time. Thanks for the congrats on the win, running that regatta was a blast!

Great pictures, but I have to ask after looking at your cooking set up, any appliances left in the kitchen at home? lol

Actually Jerry, all the appliances in the pics are just for camping, and do not require robbing stuff from our home kitchen. We've been tent camping for 4 decades and like having a few amenities when we hit the road.

You seem to take half the stuff of my little sis (who loves her tent camping). Her kitchen tent looks like a chef's dream! LOL. Nothing wrong with that especially when I get to eat her yummy creations.

Hugs,

I'm a professional cook, retired, and always trying to sneak more stuff in with each trip, drives my wife crazy, but I think camping shouldn't be all roughing it, especially in the eating area. lol Best addition for the kitchen we've made (except for the coffee maker) is a toaster oven. That thing has already paid for itself. Thinking of switching from propane cooking to electric when available, but so far haven't found any 2 burner hot plates that are both higher capacity and reasonably priced. Easier clean up on sealed electric.

We had a great time Mike, thanks! And yes, we used the canoe, just didn't take the camera.
