Just got back from a nice camp out with the fam on the southern Oregon coast. Weather was kinda cool-ish...(like it usually is)...probably around 65 degrees
....but that's the way...uh huh..uh huh I like it!
It wasn't too windy and actually quite nice.

Stayed at Bullards Beach State park with my daughter and her family...then, when they went home on Sunday, we drove a bit further south
and stayed several days at Cape Blanco (supposedly the westernmost point in Oregon and the contiguous United States)

This is the Coquille River lighthouse at Bandon:

Looking south down the coast toward Port Orford and Humbug mountain
(nice state park there too):

Gratuitous shot of light coming through the trees at our campsite :) Image

Richard,

Never had a chance to get up in that part of the US. Looks amazing. Thanks for the pics.

Love your camper design, too.

Wow!!! great pictures!! I'm jealous!!! I love lighthouses, and the Oregon coast is one of the areas I want to explore when I finally get a tear.

You have the most awesome galley, BTW!!!

Sunhopper? Grasshopper hybrid??? I want a grasshopper BAD!!! But I love your rig!!! What a galley!!!

DragonFire,

Thanks for the kind words....glad you enjoyed the pics....the southern Oregon coastline is one of my favorite places.

My trailer is a hybrid design. When I started, I 'borrowed' certain features from both the Grasshopper and the Sunspot....so, I call it a 'SunHopper' :) By the time I finished it, I had 'borrowed' lots of other ideas from a lot of good folks on this forum ;)

I'm working on a logo emblem for it, but we just got too busy camping this summer to bother with it just now :) ....maybe this winter.
