There were five Hunter Shadow Teardrops at the 19th Dam Gathering. This is an impromptu picture at the pot-luck of the happy owners from California, Montana, and Utah. We had a lot of fun getting together.

What a great start to the camping season. It was super to see everyone and meet "the new kids" from Montana. We were very sad to see that Billnut was not going to be camping as much and selling his Hunter but that means that we will be welcoming a new member to our group soon. Only the Shadow Knows....................Hunters Rock!

Yes, Hunters do Rock!! Great group of folks who own 'em and camp with us. I have always liked their profile and features. So nice that you posted that picture of the Hunter Cult...I mean clan. It's a good, clear photo of you all also.

Thanks Joanie! Hunter Outdoor Products and later Wiltrek sold a bunch of Hunter teardrops before finally going out of production, I don't really know how many are out there. Besides this group, there is Billnut's teardrop and new owner, SDTripper has one, Mike B up in northern Idaho has one, and sometimes another one just pops up somewhere. People at the Arizona gatherings report running into Jim Hunter, now retired, down in the Phoenix area. See you and everyone at the IRG.

You guys have some great locations out west for gatherings and I'm not familiar with the Hunters. You have any more pics?

This is our 2005 Hunter Fat Shadow. It is a 5 x 10. We had the extra drawers in the galley added when we ordered it but you can't see them in this picture. Sorry, pictures are not my strongest talent.

BillZ, I have pictures in my album of a Hunter 4 x 10 Shadow. Click on the camera under my picture. Some were sold by distributors in the East. You may be familiar with a similar eastern design in the Yoder Toter and first versions of the Little Guy Silver Shadow. However, the Hunter built in the Coeur D'Alene, Idaho area was first and popular for several years prior to the others.

Darn, Wished I had been able to attend. I have a 4x8 2000 Hunter Shadow HU-1. Would of been one more Hunter. It does look older as the person I bought it from let it sit for 4 yrs uncovered.
