5550 miles in 14 days!!
Posted: Mon May 27, 2013 10:54 pm17 States 14 national parks and 5550 miles in 14 days!!! All in our harbor freight kuffle creek designed teardrop! No problems at all with the trailer (except for some dust finding its way in on a 75 mile dirt road) the original tires and bearings made the trip (ive read horror stories of both on here) The tires do neeng replaced now, the tread is still fine but there are cracks showing in between the tread.
Ive decided to modify the rear hatch to make it a little smaller. also i would like to dampen the suspension so it doesnt bounce around so much on the rough roads. Also considering a different axle and hubs (standard size) with a larger rim-tire. Trailer did great averaging 75-80 mph for hours at a time. It was a great trip and we cant wait to do another!!
