Last Dance - 2014

We're right on the edge of the end of camping season. We may squeeze another in, pending the forecast, but this may have been the last twirl around the floor (Western Montana):

... :yes: Just got back from a Nor Cal gathering myself. As I drove home, I was thinking about how to get in another trip or two before the weather turns too cold and rainy. But then, either way, it's a win for us because we need the rain even more than we need the camping trip.

I had a bead-head pheasant tail dropper off a (dry) black foam beetle. He took the dropper.

I had a ninteen inch brown hanging in a riffle and I flicked my beetle above it. A good cast and it was lined up for the delivery. The fish eased up, opened it's mouth to take the beetle –just as the dropper hung on a rock, stopped the dry and of course the brownie boogied. Classic.
