On 23 Oct 2015, we took our trip to beautiful Chimney Rock in NC, staying at the Hickory Nut Falls campground on the best site, #78. We climbed the Rock, and also toured part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Pisgah National Forest, and Asheville. Mount Pisgah National Forest is definitely on our itinerary for the future.
