2016 Teardrop Cross Country Trip from Mass. to PNW and back

This is the third cross country trip in our lightweight TD built in 2011. This time we visited:
- dulcimer festival in central Michigan
- the UP (upper peninsula) of Michigan
- Canadian Rockies (Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Mt. Revelstoke national parks)
- a visit to Brian and Sandi (of Miss Piggy fame) in the Okanagan valley of BC
- Vancouver BC and Seattle WA
- Anderson Island in the Puget Sound
- Glacier National Park
- Wall ID
- Devils Tower in WY (unfortunately in the rain)
- Watkins Glen State Park in New York state
Improvements made for this trip included a tongue rack modified from a Harbor Freight hitch rack, and mounting a flexible 100w solar panel on the hatch which worked great at keeping the Optima yellow-top battery fully charged.
I left Mass. on July 10th are returned on Aug. 18th. If you're interested here's a link to a web slideshow of the trip:
