Looks like fun; I'm gonna have to get back into it, too. Coincidentally, I'm in DFW also, was a warehouse manager before retirement, and also have a white HHR Panel. I never saw any of your posts, thus I missed your build log. I started out building my trailer in Oct '11, after long-time lurking on Exploration Portal (from which I was directed to TnTTT). I lurked here a long time also. My intention was to build a lightweight, yet, durable trailer for my wife to camp with (on Crypto-Zoological expeditions-her hobby-, and for me to use after I retired, for some softroad overlanding, first to be towed with her Cobalt and my HHR, and later with a 4wd. Things got out-of-control, and the trailer grew to about 1700lbs (loaded), much too heavy for the little cars to tow, so the Chevy 2500HD became my tow vehicle. My wife never used it, either, as she hasn't camped since it was built. I've only used it 7-8 times, myself. There's an informal grouping of campers in the South Central area that I've camped with. Nice people, no dues, no fees, no camper restrictions. I'm trying to get back to limited camping again, at Beaver's Bend again, and probably Fairfield in May. Come join us (or them) if you can!
