Fall in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York

Fall isn't spectacular this year. We had too much rain in the Summer, leading to fungus infecting some trees causing them to drop their leaves early. The hardier trees haven't turned yet, and, unfortunately, we will miss it. I was hoping to show Shelly a more spectacular display, but maybe next year. Incidently, this is the first partly sunny day we've had since returning from New England 8 days ago.

Much nicer Fall in the Southern Tier this year, including our back yard

This is the way I'd like to remember it. I'm hoping we'll be outta here before I have to sweep too much snow off of the tear, but we'll be cutting it close.
