Moab

Postby Modstock » Wed Apr 05, 2023 8:00 am

A few pic's from our recent Moab trip.
My dad got a Jeep and I had to show him the 4x4 capitol.
To keep fuel costs down we decided not to tow the trailers and rented a small cabin.
On the way there going over the summit was blizzard conditions.
Experienced 4 seasons in a day.

We arrived and unloaded our gear and set out to the chicken corners trail.
Next day was Fins and things, Hells Revenge.
3rd day we took it down a notch with scenic trails like Tusher tunnel and Tower arch.

Absolutely loved the area! I will return and spend some 'real' time there, instead of just a couple of days.

Moab looks like an awesome wheeling spot. I really hope I can visit someday. I also want to visit the Silverton/Ouray area. Right now I have to live vicariously through your photos and through YouTube.

We stop and gas in Moab... and then head south. Fast. We find Moab a bit on the zoo side.

Here's the day we arrived and the prep beforehand. Like a good Jeep, it let me know I had a bad water pump bearing well in advance. Took care of other things as well.
