Just remember, 'eat drink and be merry for tomorrow you diet'.
I have to remember, is it good enough to wear?

Sorry Chris... No Pics.
Even if I had taken a camera, the shots of what I tasted wouldn't be very eye appealing. (Small bite size samplings delivered to an office space in styrofoam containers)
The other judges walked around and viewed the cooking while it was happening for presentation judging, but I chose to stay behind in the office, because I know all of the cooks. To be totally fair to the competition, it was important for me to not know who cooked what.

I admire your sense of self sacrifice for the greater good! Just Know If I were closer, I would NEVER let a Cast Iron chef go at it alone, but would have to sacrifice on my part as well

Ah, I see. Although I wasn't asking so much for pics as for recipe highlights; something that jumped out at you for being superdelicious, unique and/or something you'd neven tasted or had heard of before. I had not realized you were sequestered.

...and I certainly applaud your sense of fair play! :)

Doug,
It wasn't a cook-off, just a potluck and besides... Kevin was involved in that one with me as well.
Had we stashed the take-n-bake plates better, we would've pulled it off.
My only reason for wanting to be a judge at the event I judged, was to give the non camp oven judges some oversite on what it takes to use cast iron outdoors. The Fortuna Parks & Recreation Department decides who the judges are going to be for that event and they had always used people with no knowledge of outdoor cast iron cooking. It went very well, but I gotta tell yaa... I'd much rather be a contestant than a judge.

...errr, I didn't say anything about being pissed or holding grudges...I was talking about a Norwegian's prejudice against an iron pot being named after the Hollanders..............................

Not this one...
Some may think that camp oven sounds more politically correct because of the Dutch salesmen who peddled these ovens, but the fact is... The Dutch used a different process using dry sand to cast them, yeilding a smoother finish than other methods using wet sand in earlier times, so calling them Dutch ovens couldn't be considered politically incorrect.
Australians refer to them as camp ovens and so do some major manufacturers...
