Fire Rquirements

Many State and National Parks are starting to require that all fires or flames be 18" above the ground. A good DO table would satisfy that.

Another good idea I got from Joanne is to use the above mentioned oil pan, and coil a length of roofing tin and set it inside of the pan. You could use a binder clip (from an office supply) to hold the top portion of the tin. A couple of bricks or flat rocks would get it off of the ground, or you could set it on the grill that is available at most camp sites.
