Watch using really sweet stuff....it wants to stick, fruits need to be in the center of the batter, not mixed in to it, drop them in after you pour, berries want to stick....Have fun! Get some pics of them being eaten with a crowd at a pot luck and you're "patched in"....welcome to the "gang". Doug

As a founding member of the AWDA, I figured I better make sure I bring my iron to the next campout. Well I looked high and low to no avail, couldn't find it anywhere. Checked the trailer one last time and there it was, buried in the back end of my teardrop. :applause:

Phew, I was worried there was a waffle iron conspiracy brewing there.

One of our future AWDA inductees got an iron with no handles off E-bay. Here at DougKraft industries we are a full service company. This morning we produced a set of handles for Sue. Color courtesy of the Susan B Komen foundation. There will be no confusion about who's iron is who's or Sues'. Doug

Yeah, Doug had that happen to him as well. He watched the timer count down to the last seconds only to be outbid by some lowlife. :x 8)

That low life was Kevin!!!! I did OK on it though.

It's e-bay. It kinda depends on how bad you want one and how bad the other guy wants one. Recently they've gone upwards of 70$. At their peak, some buy it nows were close to 90. I got mine for 10$, but only had 1 handle on it only 1 other bidder...an easy fix for me, a 1/4 20 7" bolt with 3/8" cut off the threaded end and a wood dowel drilled.

I know of a pair of them that went for like 25$. Not sure what Sue paid, but she had no handles. It's not uncommon to find them like that as you had to remove the handles to fit it in the box at least during part of their production.

An upcoming inductee had one given to them, it was found in the wild. It's kinda like gold and "gold is where you find it". Doug

Thanks for the guidance, guys. I'll have to think how high I'm willing to go, but it was helpful to know the "going rate".

I love my new hot PINK handles!!! Had me laughing out loud!! LOL!!!

Thanks Doug! and the Susan B Komen Foundation.

I can't wait to whip those babies out and get patched in!!

I paid $53 on eBay for my iron, and the seller didn't happen to mention that there were no handles.
