I saw a Lodge 10-inch DO on sale for 30-percent off, which came to $19.51. I bought it -- impulse buy.

Was that a decent price?

I would say that is a very good price. Unless it is like the waffle iron Paul got for $15.
If it is fairly smooth and the lid fits then you did good.

Is it a camp style oven (With legs and ash gaurd on the lid) or is it a kitchen style oven? (No legs and domed lid)

Don't know if you're an old "seasoned" Dutch oven cook or not, but there is a group of folks down there in Texas that call themselves the Lone Star Dutch Oven Society and they have a real informative website on cooking in the old black pots. Google them or check out this page from their site for getting started....great tips
