I have a Camp Chef 12" Dutch oven & I would like to know if the storage bags from lodge would work on my Camp Chef dutch oven? what I am wondering is the legs the same distance apart on the Lodge as they are on Camp Chef?I am hoping that the legs will fit in the holes for the legs Any information would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks Joe
:D

I have a couple of those Lodge bags, the padded ones and there are no holes for the legs. They haven't worn through either. I'm sure they would fit any standard oven though unless you got the tall lid.

I have the padded bags from http://www.sportsmanswarehouse.com/index.cfm

They also don't have holes for the feet. I use the same bag for both the deep and regular oven. I'm shure the Camp Chef ovens would fit also.

:D Thanks everybody,
After everybody's suggestions, I have decided that I will get the storage bag from Cabella's. I am sure that i't will be what I need. I will put a piece
of plywood in the bottom because of the legs. I want to thank everybody for their help. I couldn't have decided what bag too use on my own. I really appreciate everybody's help. :D

Joe and Vickie:

When you put the rounded plywood, be sure and mark where your legs go and drill 1/2 way down so each leg can sit in the plywood. It makes for a more even carrying and it should keep your oven from moving around. I did this to a couple of mine and it works great. Oh, and they both are stored in Cabela's bags.

Thank you you Cajun Lady for your tip. I was allready thinking about that. Your tip on drilling holes for the legs just made me positive that I will do that. Thank you again & God Bless.
