Size of skillet please

What is your preferred size of cast iron skillet? I was thinking maybe a 6, 7, or 8 Grizwald. I do not have our Camp-Inn yet to know how much space there is for these.

Mike,
The frying pan slot in the Camp-Inn will take up to a 12" pan depending on handle length. A 10" fits the stove better though so that is what I would recommend. A 8" would work very well also.

Big enough to hold what I'm cooking. My favorte is a 10" omelet pan. Occasionally I'll use a 12" regular skillet if called for.

My 12" lodge will not fit in the slot, the handle is just a little bit long.

BIG, I have a 6", 8" and a 10" and I'm finding that with a family of 5 I need bigger the 10" is good for 2-3 people (just my opinion)

I would get one of every size. That said there are three that I use more than others. The 12" Lodge, the 6" Lodge and the 8" square Wagner. Oh and I do have one of every size and shape. I collect them from the thrift store around the corner.
If you can find a nice 10" Wagner they are lighter than the Lodge by far and wouldn't be such a problem storing. I love the square skillets for camping if you can find one.
