Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Easter started out normally , but I brought out the Walmart $13.00 DO to make a breakfast cake . The cinnamon strussel cake turned out great , and was gone in a flash. I have pictures and I'll try and post later when I have time.
I almost got bit but, I have one of the crumbs.
Coals were still hot, so how about a pizza. Sounds good , So I whip up a crust , throw it in the wonderful D.O. and add the toppings. Looks great , I set it on the weber and again it turns out great. My crew of 4 devoured it in no time, risking a bite again I managed to take another photo.
Now the problem starts.........
I had my ham in the oven and everyone is stuffed from the d.o. meals.
The ham ended up getting put away and only got 2 slices off of it. There goes the great easter dinner I had planned.
I give up.
I think we just started a new tradition. We'll just do our next easter in the camp d.o's.
Time for a new cook book .

Click on cast iron topics and look for d.o. cookbook recommendations click on it. You will find 3 or 4 good sources. There is one put together by our fellow forum members , click on it and print it out. I 3 hole punched my copies and they went in a binder and right into the teardrop. Makes you hungry just reading it. Some simple some fancy all sounded great. I also found a coal calculator in the cast iron topics just now and printed it off as I am sure it will come in handy as an addition to the cook book.

How is Pearl and Toby?

Pearl was sold and we kept Toby, he is a real sweet and smart little boy. He follows mom (Nikki) and copies everything she does , so training has been easy so far. I'm really glad we kept him.
