Patty Bowl

Went to yard sale and here was a cast iron bowl so looked at bottom of it and it was a Griswold 871 Patty Bowl. With it being named after me I of course had to have it so offered 50 cents for it and it was mine.
There is one now on ebay going for 25.99. Mine is in great shape.
Did I do good Dean????? :)

I just checked my Griswold book. Looks like your #871 Patty Bowl was made in the 1930's and is valued at $100. I'd say you made out like a bandit... :thumbsup: :applause:

Jeremy, Patty bowls were used in conjunction with Patty molds to make a type of pastry. the following links may give you an idea how they work.
