Could it Be?

The Mrs and I went over to one of the building supply stores and we wondered into the candle odds and ends section.

Well to my surprise there was a little pot there with a lid. And inside of it was candle. Same size as the diameter of the pot itself.

Sure looked like a 5 inch diameter Dutch Oven. I kick myself in the head for not buying it though.

I need to go back on Monday to see if its still there.

Could it be a Dutch Oven? That small?

Classic Finn

Probably not... just a novelty item.... I would not try to cook in it.

As an aside, some folks might think that would double as a furnace inside a teardrop.

Sorry to say, it doesn't put out enough btus...

Heikki the 5" is great for individual desserts or it makes a great mountain man breakfast. I bought a couple of Lodge 6" and love them

Mike, what about a Coleman lantern inside (yes, open a window partway first)?

FWIW, those little 'cast iron' candle tins are a great way to support and protect a NuWick emergency candle, after the fancy scented one is all done.
(Yes. You can use NuWick to heat / cook. In fact my kids will probably do that again this year at RenFaire.)
