Picked up these 2 ashtrays yesterday, at seperate sales. The one on the left is marked Wagner Ware 1050, and the one on the right is marked MADE IN USA 1050. Are they both Wagner? They are identical except for the markings.

I have been trying to get a guy at at local swap meet to drop his price on a Griswold ash tray, same size. He wants $5 and I keep offering $3. With fewer people smoking they are just a novelty item now.

I thought those were spoon rests when I bought a new Lodge brand one about a year ago for a couple bucks.

It looks like to me the one on the left is a original Wagner and the one on the right may be a reproduction. I may be wrong but the 2 lines in the bottom lead me to that belief.

Are they the exact same size or id the one on the right slightly smaller?

They're exactly the same except for the casting boo boo's.

Hey! Look at that. According to Lodge, its an ashtray AND a spoon rest. Well, OR actually. I actually thought it would be good to cook a single egg to put on a sandwich. And it came pre-seasoned.

I think that would be a good skillet for someone on a diet. If it doesn't fit in the skillet, you can't eat it. And you can't go back for seconds!

Mike...

P.S. That works good with a spoon like this too!
