Guess what I found

Completely slipped my mind, I had some cast iron stashed away that I found after Hurricane Katrina. Someone threw it out because it was rusted. Have a 12" dutch Oven with cover 4 skillets of various sizes, a cornbread pan and a saucepan with a wooden handle. As I write this it's in the BBQ pit getting a new coat of seasoning.

Just hoped you cleaned out the rust thoroughly before seasoning - but you did do that, now didn't you?

All cleaned out with a 4" angle grinder and a wire brush, plus scrubbed really well with SOS pads, then all greased up and into the BBQ pit. Just took them out a little while ago, they look good, just hope they cook as well as they look. I'll try and get some photos tomorrow so everyone can see.
