i have a 3 leg long handle dutch oven made by weed & cornwell savannah ga.great con dition for age,very used.estimate age over 110 years.this belonged to my great grandmother,given to me by my grandmother who was born in 1900

Those things are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!! You should get it out of your house immediately, if not sooner.

I am highly experienced in their disposal, so you should pack it very carefully and ship it to me even before reading the end of this message!!



In all seriousness, that is a wonderful piece and I have been looking for one like it for years now. It is called a "spider" and it can be used like a dutch oven, or like a skillet because of the handle. Take very good care of that piece and keep on loving it by using it frequently.

Oh, and post a picture of it so those of us less fortunate can drool over it.
