Been a little slow on here. Finally got around to getting this flea market find cleaned up.

The only mark I can find is inside the lid:

Anyone have a clue? Seems to be of high quality and fairly smooth. Should be a good user.

Maybe and ERIE ??
Apears to be an ERIE Skillet
Look at page 18 of the pdf for symbols to see yours
.
Looks like they marked the 9" skillet with this series mark?

MightyDog was close as one of their symbols resembles the spider.

Thanks for that link. I had never seen that before. Very cool read.

The skillet itself shows no signs of being Erie or any mark at all. The pattern makers mark on the lid is a dead ringer for the "hourglass" mark you call out in the PDF. The lid fits like a glove including the pour spouts, so I have to believe it belongs to the skillet. So possibly it's an unmarked Griswold?

At any rate I really like it and pretty much expect it to live in the tear during the season.

Thanks for the replies.

What you have appears to be an unmarked Wagner Deep skillet (circa 1920's-1930's) that was sold through outlet stores according to the book of Wagner and Griswold. As far as the marking under the lid that would be a molders mark. great find BTW

Awesome! Thanks Ironhead - I was hoping you were out there. I might just have to break down and buy those books....
