that you just had to have or still need? About a year year and a half ago I bought my first piece, a 10" camp dutch oven. I didn't realize it at the time but I might of paid retail for it used. I have bought alot of pieces since then. Some new, some flea market finds and some that friends almost gave me. My favorite piece is the 10"dutch oven Made in USA. I bought a new 12" Lodge from wally world. Its just way to big for every day use for a small family. Needs to be a large meal or a gathering. I use the 10" offten, but I have been wanting to find a 8" to stack on top so I can make a dessert or a side dish. In my world a 8" camp dutch oven is hard to find.
I have looked at flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores, amazon, and even wally world. This last week the wife and I went on a two night camping trip to canton trades days. Had a great time. I'm not kidding, in the last building, the last booth, I found the object I have been looking for.
The 8" camp dutch oven, made in USA. In good shape. A little rust and the bail was bent.
I was able to get it for $18.oo. :applause:

Very nice find! I bought an 8" Bayou Classic. It does not have feet, so I use a lid stand for its feet. It has become my #1 oven for just the two of us.

8-inch DO's are great. I found one at a sporting goods store that was going out of business. It was more than I wanted to pay, but it was an 8-inch. It's great for just the two of us for any meal. My wife makes peaches and dumplings when we camp. It's like chicken and dumplings, but with peaches, not chicken...
