I was reading a magazine and they were talking about tailgating at football games.

One lady had Grilled Cinnamon Rolls and called them a "Penn State Tradition" but I can't find much info on them. They said the smoky flavor on them made them taste great.

Anybody heard of these?

Well I had to start somewhere so I studied here. :R between this thread and some Bob Henry style ingenuity, I repurposed an old Turkey fryer element into a trivet and charcoal starter/lid holder. Bob's chain idea held the upper coals nicely. I wanted easy to see if the briquet calculations, gleaned also from this site, held true. Thank all of you folks for my DO education. :D

As they say... pics or gtfo.

The same rolls as I usually make in my normal oven were somehow much tastier cooked this way. :o
