I was reading a magazine and they were talking about tailgating at football games.
One lady had Grilled Cinnamon Rolls and called them a "Penn State Tradition" but I can't find much info on them. They said the smoky flavor on them made them taste great.
Anybody heard of these?

Well I had to start somewhere so I studied here. between this thread and some Bob Henry style ingenuity, I repurposed an old Turkey fryer element into a trivet and charcoal starter/lid holder. Bob's chain idea held the upper coals nicely. I wanted easy to see if the briquet calculations, gleaned also from this site, held true. Thank all of you folks for my DO education.
As they say... pics or gtfo.

The same rolls as I usually make in my normal oven were somehow much tastier cooked this way.
