Don't know if anyone's posted this link yet, but, if your interested, this one's on ebay.

Personally, I don't like hotdogs that much.

Corndogs are nature's most perfect food on a stick, but they are not that perfect. I would love to have one of these, but with two teenaged boys, I am too busy buying food to buy that kind of iron.

I think that I can get the aluminum halves cast for perhaps $35 a pair or perhaps less if there is a fair quantity. To complete the iron would take a bit of simple drilling, tapping, and handle making.
Is anyone interested in a "dyi" project if I can get the castings?
I have a genuine iron to use as a pattern.
Lemme know if anyone is interested.
Cheers,
Gus

That sounds like a great project Gus. I have a feeling once all of us show off our waffle dogs next camping season, the demand will go up.

I am pretty sure I would be interested in a set as well.

I would love to land myself one of these ... even if it's a reproduction. I've even thought about borrowing one to digitize and cut new ones out of billet Al. If the price is right, count me in.

I'm in. My kids love the irons we have already (waffle, brat, and sandwich), and are interested in the waffle-dogger, as well.

I thought it was you cooked in them that got you the patch, not the iron itself.

I would be interested as well. The genuine article is getting too pricey to justify for my cheap butt.

Someone will come up with a repro patch for repro doggers
