Estate find

My wife and I are clearing out an estate, and came across a Griswold "square fry skillet". It is 9 inches inside dimension. It has the handle coming off the corner. This seems a bit unusual to me, but most of what I have seen has been round.

I also originally thought, "Oh! Cool! They found a cover to fit it." But, then I saw that the cover had the Griswold logo on the handle. Is this an unusual piece, or is it pretty ordinary?
