I remember catching a 3 pound brown trout at Ice house where the creek enters the lake. I have camped and fished at the lake above ice house and shed and camped at Loon Lake. Very beautiful place and always so quiet and peaceful.

Of course this was back in 88 when I was stationed at Mather AFB

Looks like a great time. I love camping in the snow...so quiet and peaceful.

Was at the Royal Gorge a few Easters ago and woke up to similar conditions...no heater required when you got 2 furkids to keep you warm!

Better late than never

I thought I had posted these, but maybe not. Here are some pics from our Ice House trip at the same camp ground as Doug. And teardrops are good for grandpa/granddaughter naps too. Rocketgirl, this is when you guys came to visit!

Those are some good pics, Debbie. It's kind of funny, though, to see snow some pictures followed by shorts and T-shirts in the others. It must've been an interesting weekend!

Great pics of a beautiful area and in vibrant weather!

I'm moving forward with the rest of my teardrop body build! (trailer chassis has a 1/2-tear wagon body on it right now. See avatar...)

I'm very much looking forward to camping with you guys! Hoping to make the Spring '11 Dam Gathering with it.
