Heading south after exiting hwy 36 to 101, there is a nice rv park in Stafford. Remember the name of it Kev, where we had the FDOS DOG?
The weather in this area is usually sunnier than Eureka, but with redwoods close by, you can get that fog as well.

I grew up in Fairhaven, it is further out the peninsula than Somoa, so I know the area, and you could not get me to stay at the Somoa boat ramp on a bet for booze! :wine: It can stay foggy and nasty out there all day even if it is 80 degrees in Arcata or southern Eureka. Don't do it!
