Hey, neighbor! Glad you and that adorable Dottie made it home safely. Thanks for sharing the site, and to Lyn and Jon, of course. We had a great neighborhood!

Finally getting around to posting about the my first Dam Gathering. I had a great time and it was fun to see all the people and tears that I have been seeing on the forum for the past few years. Even my friend, Ann, who didn't know what she was getting into had a great time. She was amazed at all the teardrops and the fine craftsmanship in all of them.

Terry and Dottie: Spike says hi and glad you made it home safe. Dottie sure was cute.

Kirk: Thanks again for checking my dad's two Coleman lanterns. Now I know they work! He was happy that I can use them now and know that they are in good shape.

Grant and all his helpers: It was a great event and I will try and make it next year too. You guys did so much work and it will be nice next year if you can enjoy it and relax a little - will that be possible?

Joanie and Dean: I don't know you but have seen your posts for a few years and I was glad to be there for your wedding. It was lovely.

Thanks Michele!!...I'm pretty sure we will have people telling us they were at our wedding for years to come....we were delighted that so many people could join us to celebrate. We estimated that about 175-185 attended the ceremony & reception. Ron D. is sending us a copy of the event he put together on a dvd, so we will be able to enjoy it once again.

Jon,

Very nice photos, thanks for putting this together. I'm sure a lot of time and effort went into this. I would like to be able to make a trip like that someday.

Dottie “ The Destroyer” and I made it back to Wichita yesterday afternoon. Not quite a Massachusetts to
CA and back run ( Hi Jon & Lyn ) but never less 4420 miles. It was nice to see the Grand Canyon finally.
Great to catch up on old Air Force buddies and their families in CA and WA. Even better was meeting all
the new friends I made at the gathering. I hope I got to talk to each and every one of your guys and gals.

Thanks Grant and company for arranging this gathering. I’m can’t say any thing that has not just been posted
already this week but thanks again.

I took so many pictures and will be putting them in a slide show and album and posting a link as well. It is going
to take a bit of time. I want to label the camper in the slide show with owner's first name and trailer name if I can
track them all down.

Dottie Hamming it up for a photo op. In case you're wondering where the, “ The Destroyer ” part of her name comes
from, just look at the half eaten harness and dog leash she is wearing.

I am probably the only person to get a "clean" combo picture of Miss Piggy and the Stude.

My secret was to wait until everyone else had left on the last day.

Jon,
You deserve to be recognized for your beautiful contribution to our wedding ceremony. The music was wonderful, as was your kindness in volunteering to play at it. When I first listened to your recordings before the Gathering they moved me to tears. You are a very talented individual and I know that many in attendance would love to hear more of your music. Thank you for playing at our wedding, and for gifting us with your music. We are so fortunate to have people such as you who Pay It Forward. You have a place saved for IRG 5.0 !
