It went great. Very good participation. I would say 20-25 cars total.

There are pics in the Derby thread above.

Kirk ...

... change is good ... ;) ... just ask me ...   ...!

Thanks! for coming up with and running the Pinewood Gravity Races ... :applause: ... what a blast! Even though I didn't get mine finished, I guess you could say I ran it in the Under Construction Class (at least I didn't get eliminated in the first round ... after making some "adjustments", anyway ... :D ...!

It was also a great pleasure to camp next to you and get to know you better! Looking forward to the next campout that we can share!

Oh, BTW ... Bridgette & Hillary say the one thing you can-and-should bring more of to any campout is plenty of See's Candy! ... ...!

'Til later, my Friend ...

CHEERS!

We always sell lots of paint. I have a table out front on the sidewalk for camp stuff. It always sells real fast.

Go going on the jury duty! Doug.

Kirk: Thanks again for working on my dad's two Coleman Lanterns at the Dam Gathering. I am glad they are in good shape and that I can use them and not worry about them. I'm going to clean them up a bit and use them.

Do you know if they make cases now that will fit either of them? Or maybe I can find an old one that would work. One is in the original box - not great shape and both are then in a wood box together but they can still rattle around a bit.

Glad you enjoyed the Peanut Butter Cookies!

Michele

Michele - there are cases for those lanterns you just have to look at flea markets and yardsales. Or if you are in a hurry and have more money than time you can get them on e-bay. Looking forward to your cookies at some camp in the future . Take care.

Lots of hot temps about to happen this weekend...they're saying 110 in Sac. Some of us are going up to Fallen Leaf Lake for a vintage trailer thing...should be much cooler up there. Who's going? Doug

Well I hope you are all enjoying yourselves. I planned to camp 10 times this summer. I went once. But the year is not over. One thing I did do is take many naps in my teardrop. I just slip in and nobody knows where to look for me, its awesome. And for my next trick ----------------

I just got site 26 on snob hill for Dam 21. I will bring the Derby track so keep your cars polished, or build new ones.

Dam Gathering is only 8 months away. Cant wait!
