Hey Eunice and Ken, boy are you lucky to have snow in Fortuna, :D we have had the stuff faling for more than a week, not hard, but steady. I wish that I knew how to send a picture to you and show you what we have, but still can't figure it out. :? Would like to put the picture on here and I know it can be done, be how, I do not know. If I send you an e-mail other than the tearjerkers forum, I am able to do that, so I think I will :snow :snowstorm:

dont know that I would call us lucky. I am tired of the wind, rain and wet. then snow to boot! With all this snow I am sure it will melt in the hills so we will have a flood come spring time.
there was a strong burst of air that blew the roof off a store over the weekend. no one can explain it.

Well the last time that I wrote to you it had been snowing for a week, well it hasn't stopped and we are going to get another storm come early next week, and that will send even more snow in this direction. I think that tomorrow will be the only day that we don't see any snow. I was planning to go to yellowstone, mt rushmore and a couple of other places next summer, but have made more money blading peoples driveways and cleaning off our road, so I just might follow Pam and Shelly back to their place and then head for the two fore mentioned.

Did you get those pictures that I sent :QM

Well, we finally have a good sunny, but cold, week ahead. No more snow for a while. I have about four feet in the back yard and will be glad to see it all go. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Well, mother nature is at it again. It is snowing here and has been for the entire day. Not much sticking, but just enough to interfer with some out of state drivers. Had a bunch of accidents on hwy 97 today and just a few injuries, and all I can say is those people that don't know how to drive in the snow and icy roads, don't.

Snowed off and on here most of the morning. Didn't stick. Woke up Sunday morning(the 20th) to 3" of snow on the deck. Thought my calendar must have been wrong. Time for summer or at least spring. Jerry

Hey Jerry, we have had snow every night this week and about 10:00 it was all gone. The date on the calender was right but the month I think was still in winter mode.

Well we have snow in LaPine and it didn't go away. About an inch on the Dakota this morning(Tuesday) and is snowing very lightly now. Looks like winter is starting a little early.

hey Bruce
I'll trade you an inch of rain for an inch of snow... no wait I think I'll trade them both for an inch of sunshine and a Mexican beach

Well, we had our first snow in La Pine last weekend. :snow Didn't drop much, but for this time of the year, four inches is too much for some people. There were many rollovers on Hwy 58, one of the main roads leading across the mountain. Where did autum go????

Today woke up to freezing rain and really slick roads. :o Had a few accidents this morning and will be getting rain, not freezing, for the rest of the week.
I think that winter has arrived early.
Bruce :)
