Ditto's on what Jerome said....You and Joanie really did a great job on it all...and the weather was just fabulous! Aside from a few glitches....IE the IRG Derby track fell off a truck etc....certainly tops on my list of memorable camping events I've attended. Cool nights, some high fog that burned off and clear sunny days...everyday in the river about 3PM.

It was amazing how just a few miles down 101 and the temps were well into the high 90's on the way home. For those of you that have never been through the Avenue of the Giants here's a pic....it's the best....Doug

Ditto's on what Jerome said too,

I certainly noticed how warm it was on 101. The first rest stop I put on cooler clothes.

I'm in Sacramento right now and it is still warm with a high of 95. I'm missing the redwoods, it was so beautiful and the weather was wonderful.

I'm looking forward to getting home where it is supposed to be in the low 70's.
Martha ;)

Thank you Dean and Joanie for all your work and effort in putting on a great event. My son Thomas and I had a great time meeting a lot of great people!

We made it home safely after a easy 14 hour drive!

:applause: Thanks to Dean & Joanie for a great week. You two do such a super job organizing. Arrived home around noon to hot temps. Perfect gathering; seeing 'old' friends and meeting new ones. Look forward to IRG #4 in 2012. Next time I am going to count how many times I go up and down those stairs. Should have lost a few pounds but with all the great food, am sure the scales went the other way.

We had such a good time! Made some new friends...learned a few things, too! Thanks Dean and Joanie for all your hard work...thanks to all your little helpers as well. We're new to the teardropping community but have been blown away by their friendliness. See you all down the road!

I'm still on the road...in Lyman, WY tonight with Wi-Fi!! I'll be getting home to ND on Saturday with a detour to CO to pick up my puppies.

But...my new vintage lantern is working great to light my way!!!

I had a fantastic time...thanks George, Lee, Doug, Sue, Dean and Joannie!!!

OK how about some pictures of who won what and why. The Kitty access door particularly started me thinking. :)
