Cool!!!
I'm marking the Medicine Lake and Hat Creek Gatherings on the calendar...

EDITED 1-15-2011 I really-really-really wanted to do Medicine Lake, but Joanie & I won't be able to swing those August dates. :(

Black Butte works as I have an Egg gather the previous weekend in S. WA. Gives me a week to rockhound in E. OR.

Father's Day meet on the coast; kewl!

Sept. may fit into a wrap up to the 2011 Meander also.

Well, 2011 is Here and it's time to think CAMPING..!!!!

Black Butte Lake....May 20th, 21st, 22nd.

Now.... we have 2 options....Individual sites or Group camping. The group area was really cool. It was all by itself 1/4 mile from main campground, had a HUGE BBQ and covered Gazebo areaImage

A play ground and Horseshoes... ( Boys will be boys..!!)

New bathrooms WITH really nice showers Image

The individual sites were cool too at Buckhorn....almost all of them were lakeside...they all had a fire ring, table, lantern pole...
Image

The group area has a minimum of 25 people and Max of 80 and is $120.00 per night....Individual sites are $17.00 per night. I called the Lake direct and they said Teardrops would be fine in the group area. So.......What does everyone want to do...??? Group Area or Individual...???

That depends on who you ask...?? The darker color is the old Jefferson State and the lighter is the new. I was told NOT to be a Jefferson State Nazi :D
Image Tehama and Glenn Counties are both in the new
(Trust me....I've had MORE fun stating the fact that Shasta County isn't part of Jefferson State)

Kay
so you are saying that the people that have been in Jefferson State longer than you, and have been asked to be part of JS, just because they are not within the boundries, are now no longer Jefferson State members????
Just a question.

Bruce you know better :o Nowhere does it say you have to LIVE in Jefferson State to be a member of Jefferson State TearJerkers. You have always been a member. Pam in Colorado is a member, same as Heikki in Finland.

This sounds like fun and it requires that I travel my favorite highway to get there. That would be SR 36! I'm looking into my schedule.

I haven't been through Whitethorn in years. Used to go through when traveling between the Mendocino Coast and Petrolia on the Usal Rd. That was back in the early 70's. It was just a dirt road with a little store with empty shelves back then.

It is not me that they want to stay in Jefferson State, but my dog. Everyone loves Ebony, so will have to get her a vehicle that she can go to all the gatherings. Talk about a old fashion family feud, :laughing1: that sounds just like a good sence of humor, or something???
I only wish that I could go to more of the gatherings :( , but the western UNITED STATES is calling me before I am unable to take any more long trips, then I AM going to go to where I will have more fun and be with better friends.
This might sound mushy, but I have NEVER met a nicer bunch of people anywhere that I have been, :applause: and I have been ALL over this US while working.
Oh well, enough rambling. I will be on the tour.
Bruce and Ebony
