Courtney on Hoarders

That area of Southern Oregon and Northern California. (Ask Dean!) Includes Jefferson State Tearjerkers

The house was absolutely gorgeous on the outside, but the inside is a hot mess, and that's not even taking the hoard into account. There's so much deferred maintenance on that place, it's not even funny. Honestly, they don't have the means to catch up with the work that needs to be done to bring that place up to code. It's going to be interesting to see how this unfolds over time.

But I will have more stories for the campfire! 8)

Courtney

I just went to A&E to watch your show but they don't keep them around very long. I did watch some of the others. I have never seen it before. Have heard a lot about hoarders of course. Now I am looking at my house a lot differently.

 Funny you should say that Randy. I went out to my garage just the other day. Said to myself if I was to throw that away and throw this away and give this and that away I could get two of my cars in and still have room for my mobility scooters. I couldn't believe the stuff (junk) that's in there that I have no plans on ever doing anything with. Well at one time I had plans. :?

When I use to show my house to people it was "This is Junk room #1, this is junk room #2 and this is junk room #3" I have added junk room #4 since I last allowed people inside.

Funny thing though. My work area at work is usually the cleanest. When I was at Dell it was never cluttered up and I kept it dusted. Now driving manure trucks mine has the least amount of garbage in the cab. I don't Throw food wrappings, cans and stuff on the floor or let them build up in sacks. I take my garbage home at the end of the day. If I can pack it in I can pack it out. I get in trucks the other drivers been driving there is garbage all over. Makes me upset they can't take care of their own trash.
