Many of you will remember his music while sitting around campfires at numerous gatherings the past several years.
I must regretfully inform you that I recently received news of his passing after a bout with pneumonia.

I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I was fortunate enough to hear him perform last year, he was very talented.

Cowboy was a very nice guy, and an accomplished guitarist  , sorry to hear of his passing.
I'm happy we had a nice visit last year at the Dam.
He was so kind & encouraging to Jane at IRG 3.0 when she played her harp.
He will be missed.
Danny

 Sending a song his way.....Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.... Fond thoughts of Cowboy -- Many hours of long talks around the campfires we shared with him over the years..starting with the parking lot at DPW. Wonderful memories of singing along to his music. And what a bike he had!!! Blessings to you Kev, for introducing Dean and I to Michael, a friend to all of us.
xoxo Joanie

Sorry to hear that ... Doug has a good thought..... What song did he sing the most maybe we could sing it with the lights instead of a moment of silence it could be a moment of song. I am sure he will be there to sing along in some form. :worship:

Kevin, I just saw this.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear it. I enjoyed Cowboy's music, and just kidding around with him.

Cowboy and I were briefly married during one of the IRG potlucks, so we could qualify for getting into line with the marrieds. The next day they let singles go first, so we had a quickie amicable divorce.

I always looked forward to seeing him with his great smile. He will be missed, and I for sure will miss his music. I will picture him riding down the Chisholm Trail, guitar strapped to his back.

:(

 So sorry to hear Cowboy won't be around the teardrop campfire again. Always enjoyed his guitar and singing. Kevin, thanks for including him in our circle of friends because we count it a privilege to have had him amongst us.
