21st Dam Gathering - May 1-4, 2014

You can reserve campsites through Antlers Campgrounds, and you will pay them ... there will not be registration fees, no T-shirt, no dash plaques, no raffles ... just come on out and have fun! But DO bring your Pinewood Gravity Racers, as Kirk will be bringing the track back again ... ... and DO bring your Dutch Ovens or other cooking accouterments and be ready to PotLuck every night! See you there!

I got my spot on the Hill. Snob hill that is. I will be bringing the track for pinewood racing and boxes of Sees Candy to eat!

I think I heard Doug say that he wanted to be the super official Coleman tech for the camp. If so take all your non working lanterns to him for free service.

Ebony and I will be there. Can't wait, but I guess will have to. See you all there unless I break again.

I plan to be there. I have been trying to get hold of Antlers for a reservation but all I get is voice mail. I'll keep trying. By the way where is the "snob hill"?

The "Hill" is sites #11-16 and #24-29 ... let's just say that it has a "reputation" (not necessarily bad, but it all depends on your point of view ... ...). In years past, we only used sites #1-66 ... but last year, for the 20th, we had the whole campground (172 trailers!) ... Kay & I fell in love with site #79, so that's what we reserved for '14 (we'll be able to fit 8-10 teardrops on that one site!).

I got a call from Antlers yesterday and have reserved site 22 for May 1,2,&3. This looks like it will be my first teardrop gathering. I'm really looking forward to it.

I could do that. Now to come up with a design. Any suggestions?

I have zero artist/design skills but I would to happy to prepay for a shirt and a plaque if you do them.

I'm checking with Grant to see who he used last year. If not, I'll figure something out.

Unfortunately, we're probably a probably not. Between work commitments for my wife, her school schedule for her Masters degree and the graduation of a goddaughter and a nephew, life is gonna get in the way... . I was really looking to starting the camping season with you guys. I'll keep it on my radar and if anything opens up and the camping gods look kindly upon me, maybe I can pull it off. &^#$@!!! ^&&^^$*(!!
