Hi Sam! Your days sound like mine. I am still cutting up the limb pile.

Our neighbors got the view of us laying on the trailer floor with cardboard up. 8)

I am buying a lottery ticket so I can go trekking across the country side like Pam.

Oh and are the rest of you making a TD Racer? ;)

Miriam:

What are the rules for the racer? I haven't noticed if there was anything posted on it. Also, are you guys ok with the water and levee situation? Gosh, that makes me sick to see so many people losing their homes and businesses. Katrina was an eye-opener for Louisiana and they are still not even close to being back to normal. My friends and family were a safe distance from the water problems in N.O. but my mom and sister (and friends) live in a town 60 miles North, right next to the Mississippi River so if a levee breaches, they are in big trouble.

Glad to see you back Sam! Glad to hear you are finally getting some warm weather. Take a break from all of your construction, pull Miss Turtle out and go camping! :vroom:

Peggy - your baby is beautiful! :applause: Can't wait to see more pics.

Hey Sam good to see ya back. :)

Peggy: Your trailer is just wonderful. :applause:

Eunice: The Interor is really great.

Miriam: How the floor thing going? Is it still a pain to do?

Amy: I bet since you finished your tear you've been camping all the time haven't you? ;)

As for me I still haven't decided what profile I like. I really like all the interior room of the Benroy but I want something more curvy.

As for the flooding I pray that every one from those areas are doing OK.
:worship:

Well see ya all later.

Well, I did it!!!, I resigned from my job today.... I have 2 weeks left then 2 days to pack load, hook up.... and we are off on our adventure! I couldn't do it if it weren't for house-sharing with my sons!!!! I took care of them for years....now it is their turn!!! When I get back after the month long adventure, I'll be in 6 weeks training for the new job, subcontracting with insurance companies and working from home in insurance fraud! The advantage of it is I can manipulate my time and be able to do more teardropping!!!! Now, if we can just do something about these gas prices!!!!

I love how everyone's teardrops are coming out, I'll post some pictures as soon as I'm through updating the Cherry Drop!!!!

See some of you in CA and others.... on the road!!!!

:o Sorry Mandy I seem to be missing stuff lately. The floor is great but I have decided to remake the bottom trim. It was done in pieces and there really isn't any reason for it.........Just gotta borrow a miter saw for a few cuts........ 8) Can't buy one cause then I have no fun money. I spent the other on a skill chain saw so I could start it without pulling my old arm outta place......... Skill definitely got it right. Can pull this one with two fingers.

Hey ladies,
If you have a minute take a peek at this ebay listing. Turns out this is a former client who I helped train two pups back in 91. She ended the auction early when I offered to buy the trailer from her.

Now Rose and I are the owners of a td and a Serro Scotty. :vroom:

We'll take the td in warm weather and when I travel alone to kayak destinations. We'll use the Scotty for spring and fall trips when it's too cold to cook outside...........maybe even some winter camping if we head south.

Barb
Life is good traveling in a td or Scotty!!!!!!

HEY girlfriends... I just had to quote this and had a thought...
we could go in together on some lottery tickets, win the $75Million + powerball and split it and the first thing is to have one big ladies only teardrop gathering !!!!! haha
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!
