Becca, I had a dream I was jogging last night---does that count? :R I really did. I don't have time to jog or walk. Too many other things to do.

Nighty night.

Like the saying goes a bad day fishing is better than a good day working.

THANK YOU!!...you just made my day! Actually I quit drinking soda's and found that I love Crystal Light. I hate diet soda so I had to find something. And, I have changed my eating habits, slowly, and started walking every morning on my treadmill. In fact, I bought new running shoes today, although I don't run. I just want to look better and feel better. It's hard but I know I can do it. Thanks again Marilyn...that was sweet.

I think I lost like 25 lbs when I cut out sugar out of my diet. But I have long since stopped it cause I have a major sweet tooth.

I need to start drinking tea again so I can stop drinking so many cokes.

Congrats Rebecca.

Thank you (I think) . Seriously, I am going to give it my best shot to post on that once a day. I thought about making a guilt journal that I would lay on top of this laptop so I had no choice but to physically move it knowing that I am supposed to post what I did that day. I think I am going to do that. I know this might be sharing a bit too much but yesterday when I walked the treadmill, I didn't wear a bra and that was the most enjoyable and comfortable walk I've had. The twins didn't even make a fuss. Bras are evil torture devices.

Thanks Mandy! My lady doctor was pis*ed off at me for gaining weight and flat said 'lose it'! I've gone to her for about 10 years and just love her. She doesn't hassle me, just tells me what I need to hear. So, I am trying. One thing is I don't and won't own a scale so I have to weigh in at her office. I made the nurse laugh the last time I was there...they weigh you in even if you are there for a head cold, so when she told me to get on the scale I told her I didn't want to. She said you don't have a choice, the law makes us do this. I told her to arrest me!

 Girls when my daughter and I go out we specifically go for the really big blue gill and perch. Just love to eat them. Now some bass get in the way but we don't fish for them often.

Last week when we went out Lynn (the daughter) caught a really fat 13 1/2 inch bass. The best eating kind. Unfortunately the slot limit was 13"-18". I honestly thought she would cry. We did catch a few that looked like that one Mandy too/2. :R ;)

hello lady teardroppers.

i have convinced my hubby to assist me in my venture of building a ttt. not too sure yet of design or size. but, while discussing this with him he starts talking about how he wants to build it and this that and the other thing. i told him to back up a bit, as he was assisting me with this project and not the other way around.

so he has a question for you , that i am sure you ladies can answer.

can you make these home made ttt's out of sheetmetal? he wonders why we have to use wood.

we are going camping this long weekend and then we are going to start looking locally for trailers to start the build.

Welcome to the Lady Teardropers Thread Eaglesdare.

I haven't even started my build yet so I'm not too sure why or why not sheet metal. For me as a personal choice I think that it would be too hot for my climate. I think unless I weld it might be harder to build with just sheet metal. I think it would be easier for me to build heavy 3/4 inch Ply wood walls and then build around that.

I think there are some here on the thread that have built with corragated roofing but only as a roof.

Here a pic from the unusual album.

Hope this helps.

You can absolutely make it of anything you like. Just if it is too weird a medium---well take lots of pictures anyway. 8) ;)

You will not be the first to do sheet metal nor the last. Some even make the frames out of metal.

I used wood because it is easier for me.

Oh and Image to the playground.

Eaglesdare, I just realized that I sounded snooty on my last post. Sorry for that If it did sound stand offish. The beauty of building is you can use what ever you feel comfortable using. That's why I want to build.
