Hot pink was mentioned in some of the above posts, and it made me think of this beautiful hot pink tiny trailer we got to see at Anastasia last weekend. Michele did a really nice job. Michele on the left, her sister on the right, and there are beds in the trailer for all the dogs too!

I love it! I love to have everything match. it also looks like my Jeep pulling it. Kenny would never go for pink. I am lucky to be able to do the red with black/white checks.

Good Idea Aunti M. I can save more money brown bagging my lunch. I eat lunch out way too much. That can save me like 25-30 dollars a week.

Yep, I was sound asleep by then. You are probably just getting up right now. I am at work and actually will be busy today for a change.

I have posted my intro over on the Newbie section the other day, but thought I should drop by here for a hello.

I don't have a teardrop yet, but I have been able to find a demo 5 x8 Silver Shadow that I am going to purchase. I have lurked on this forum for a while and learning lots about what I might want or not want in a teardrop.

Right now, I feel like my brain is about to explode with all of the info on this site, but that's a good thing. :)

One of my main questions right now would be what kind of EZ-up/First Up or any other type of shade or screen would be best for someone who will be doing lots of camping by themselves? Lots of the literature and reviews say to have 2 people to set up, but I know some of them can be set up by one person. I do have a 10 x 10 dome tent with only 2 poles that I am able to set up by myself rather easily.

What does anyone recommend that they have tried?

Thanks.

Welcome Susann......I have the 10x10 First up canopy like at Walmart or Farm and Fleet. I later purchased the addon clip sides for protection on those colder windy camping trips. It was very helpful to block the wind and you can do anywhere from 1-4 panels based on what you need.
Most of the ez-up canopies are basically the same in put up and take down. 2 people is best but can be done with one with a little patience and proper planning. The trick is to stake down one leg, then you go to the opposite corner and pull and up she comes. Also most the instructions will not tell you that you can put them down and leave the canopy in place. Not the best practice, but can save you significant time later during set up and take down. Esp if by yourself. Again the trick is to use care and do a few specific things the same way everytime so as to not damage it. Basically you have to release and loosen the velcro attachments of the cover to the frame, so when it collapses it won't bind or crimp in the frame joints. In other words need room to slide as it comes down. One other thing since I have done it. Make sure and read the instructions carefully the first few times and get the routine down pat, esp which order to release the leg extensions. If you reverse the order, while putting it up, its hard to raise the corner areas of the upper legs to snap into place due to the tension. Basically it goes up like a breeze and so fast. You will love it, whatever brand you get. Hope this helps
