Hey Pam great to see your face again. Tell Brandie hi. We miss her. Her painting is hanging in a prominent point in the shed where the Hill House sits. We see it everytime we go in and we think of your time here. it was fun. hope everything is going well for you. I still plan on making it to the last gasp one year!

We are heading to Fort Clinch for the weekend...leaving tomorrow. It's supposed to be decent weather. It's always a bit cooler at the beach.

Ouuu, one of my favorite campgrounds! I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing time. Take some pictures and share with us. :pictures:

It was an awesome weekend! Posted some pics over in the trip section.

Welcome to all the new lady Teardroppers! Yes, as Lynn said, and as many of you know, I spent the last three years camping with Brandie, my beautiful granddaughter..... She's now 13, will be 14 this next June and I have to schedule time to camp with her! She has a life now! However, we have done many miles together and will hopefully continue to! With 12-18" snow this last week, we won't be camping again for a while!

My winter project is to insulate the "Cherry Drop".... Shelly had left over insulation when she made her move from Colorado Springs to Minot, which she shared with me! Now I need to get busy cutting and glueing. TRUST ME, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER TO HAVE DONE IT WHEN WE FIRST BUILT HER, but I didn't know that at the time :( !!!!

Mandy, it's time girl to start putting away some "building materials"!!!! Becky and Auntie M, it's great to see your faces!

I'll try to write more..... but I do lurk often!!!!

pam

It's about time you show up Pamela! I've asked about your whereabouts a few times...I thought you didn't love us anymore. :( Just kidding! My best friend lives in Idaho Springs, CO and her daughters live in Denver and I called to see if they were snowed in. Ya'll got slammed really hard. All I want is some weather below 90 and ya'll are freezing your tushees off. Stay warm and safe. Good to see you again.

Great to see you again Pam. Hopefully we will all end up in the same place this next year. Hard to believe how fast this year has gone. You ladies get ready this winter. We need more TD's and pictures!

Hey all,

It's been a while since I stopped by so I thought I'd say a quick hello. Went camping last weekend in St. Augustine, FL. temps were great. Today it was chilly 55 when I work up. It's suppose to drop to the 40's tonight, now that's cold for Florida, even northern Fl.

Paul and I need to repair damage done by a leak on the Inkwell, I'll show pictures once we get into the project. We have a couple in the new house we need to work on first.

Anyways, hello again.

Hey Ladies, (esp you gals in Florida like Becca and Lynn)
Just to let you know my little teardrop got sold and she is moving to the beaches of Florida. Her new owner Manny will be now in Hollywood, FL. So keep a lookout for her in your travels around the state. I don't think he belongs to this forum yet, and found my ad on Teardroppers.net. So maybe he will join and do some gatherings with all you Floridians this winter. I am so sad  to see her go. He will be here tomorrow or Tues. Hope she likes her new home in the sun and sand.

Hey Carol,
What does this mean for you and your future camping? We'll definitely be on the lookout for your old trailer.

Hi Carol. I'm Roberta ... an newbie living in Northern FLorida. I will surely be on the lookout for your little gal but I see she will be living way down south near Miami. I rarely go south of Orlando. Florida is full of beautiful camping spots so she and her new owner may be planning to do some beach hopping!

Will you be getting another camper?

Carol, I'm happy you got her sold but sad too. I'm sure we'll see her on the road one of these days. Once he sees how many other owners are around Florida, he'll poke his head out. He is in South Florida, closer to Miami...about 4 hours from me.

Aren't you getting a standie? I may have my info wrong. I love my Scotty but I do miss my Teardrop. Don't have room for both and I'm liking standing up again. :D

Hi Ladies,
Tonight I am sad to say I am Teardropless  Tears were in my eyes as she drove away with Manny. Very nice guy and feel she is going to a great home. Yes, Becca I have purchased a standie. I got a 2010 KZ Sportsmen Classic RB. Still a tiny trailer. She only 14ft long and 2072lb. But yes will be good to stand again and go to the Loo as the Brits say inside where its warm for those late night calls. The old knees were just screaming to much with the trying to move about in the TD. Manny is not a member of the forum yet, but hopefully soon will be. He's also interested in the TCT group as well and talked about heading over to Bradenton to check out the winter hangout of the tin can tourist's group. I told him about the regional gatherings and how to connect up with other Teardroppers like yourselves. So if you ever run into the cute little 4x10 white TD with the side flowerbox.....you'll know she's mine. Happily my wallet is a little fatter. Will be nice to paydown that trailer loan and make that payment a little smaller. You ladies have a great Turkey day. I am heading down to Marco Island FL for some vacation on the beach on Sat after Thanksgiving. So looking forward to camping next spring in my new rig and decorating, modifying and making my "classic" my own
Already bought color coordinated rugs and some other stuff to organize the cabinets etc. So no I am not giving up camping at all, and will still be hanging around. :D My TD camping buddies up this way promised not to disown me for buying a standie......

Hey Carol,

Glad to hear you're not giving up the camping. And I certainly understand the knee situation. I also like having the portapotty in the trailer for those late night calls.

Congrats on the sale and the new trailer.
