Hi all,

This post has nothing to do with wiring and how to...I'm still working on our system plans.

Thanksgiving is coming and for the first time since I've been married, I won't be making anything to help prepare for the meal. Today marks my fifth week I've been off my right foot and I can't wait to find out what the doc says on Wednesday. My hope is that I'll be walking for Thanksgiving.

Which means, I'll be able to use the Inkwell that weekend, if Paul and I are able to build the stairs to get into is. We lost our step stool (the perfect height) on our last trip. Anyway, I can't believe how hard it has been not to be able to go inside the Inkwell.

I don't know how cold it is around the country but Northern Florida has temps dropping to the low 30's tonight and thru the weekend. I would love to be able to test the Inkwell's heating and insulation during this cold snap. Oh well, it will get cold again.

Peggy: You and me both I still haven't gone Christmas shopping. You couldn't drag me to the stores at 4am on Friday believe people tried I just can't function at that time. Although I have seen a few things for a teardrop trailer on line and at wallyworld. Just no funds for anything $>

Kerry: I am still working on a my terrible sketch for you to try to decipher. I hope to have it to you by today.

Ladies: Hope you had a Great Thanksgiving you all get well soon too.

Mandy,

Do problem, I have lots of time these days.

I did not go shopping on Friday and missed a fantastic deal. HD was selling Ryobi 4piece 18volt set of circular saw, drill, light, and radio for $59.00 which is a savings of over $200.00. I was supposed to be on sale all weekend, but they had limited supply and ran out on Friday!!

Good Morning everybody!

Hows every one doing (ie Aunti M and Lynn)? Hope it's not too cold where your at. Weather here in Albuquerque has been strange to say the least. Over Thanksgiving weekend it snowed, melted and then refroze at night and made a mess of the roadways (black ice). This is weird weather because the begining of last week we had temps of 70 degrees and then wham freezing cold wind and snow with in a couple of days.

What do you all do now that it's technically winter? I dream of camping untill summer rolls along. I can't do the winter camping thing I'm too much of a baby I don't like cold.

Take care everyone

Hey Mandy, I have been busy and sick (cough cough) and I haven't even started on the Electrical How Too thingie...

How far along are you on your build? IS there anything specific you are interested in knowing?

I have some great Ideas on a How Too I just need to find the time :?

You should check out my build link. I took lots of pictures and some might be helpful. If you have any questions, let me know.

MK and Mandy,

Mk......I printed out your instructions(but deleted the PM message) when you helped me with my electrical.

Mandy....if you want PM me with your snail mail address and I'll get it in the mail for you......................Mk's advice was simple and it helped me a lot.

Thanks for all the help everyone.

MK: alas I am only in the planning stage, I just don't have the funds to do anything big yet but I figure I can buy the small things like plugs, and windows and stuff if I can. You bet that once I get started on my build I will be the first one bugging you.

Kerry: Thanks for the 12v diagram it's pretty easy to follow.

Barb: Thanks for the offer I might take ya up on that.

Mandy,

One thing I just realized that I forgot. You most likely will want to put a light in the galley area (or mabe two lights on one switch.

If you have any more questions and when it comes time to actually start the physical wiring - just ask!

I still am planning on finishing the document that I sent you to be tutorial for folks that have never done any 12volt wiring before.
