And I thought you guys were harmless, teardrop building, quilt making, snowboarding, ladies...you are beginning to scare me. :frightened: I will think twice before I eat any of your dutch oven "special ingredient meals"!

Oh, how about a rose petal martini, based on Miriam's idea. ;)

Rose Martini:
1 dash rose water
2 oz vodka
10 grams rose petals for garnish (the killer ingredient, ha ha ha!)

This is getting very interesting.

You're right a rose in and of itself can not kill anyone. I suppose someone could be deathly allergic but I've never heard of a case. The key to this murder is that the poison can't discolor or kill the rose before it has delivered it's harmful dose to the victim.

Then there is the issue of the science they have today. The poison will have to enter the body but the CSI guys will have to be able to eventually follow the trail back to the source. Not necessarily the killer, that's the job of my protagonist.

As I mentioned before I have found a posion that I'm finding to be very promising. It even will help identify the killer because of the part of the world this poison comes from. It also will help tie in the connection to the first story because my protagonist in the first story puts a huge hole in their illegal activity.

I believe the poison is meant for my protagonist but someone else is killed before the roses land on her doorstop, sort of speak. The kicker is that the first novel villian actually was the real source that stopped the illegal activities profit, more than the protagonist.

I'm not sure that made sense to all of you but tying the books to one another is key for a series. And I love to twist the plot again and again at the time the reader is pretty sure they know who is responsible. At least that's the goal for me.

I love the rose martini idea. I might just use that and have my protagonist thank them for the drink but she doesn't drink the martini.

Keep the thoughts coming they're always helpful.

I'm a newbie! My husband and I joined to learn more about building one. I'm very excited! We are going to visit someone we met on the forum tonight that lives just around the corner from us. Hopefully we will get some great ideas to get started very soon. My husband and I are hooked wanting to start as soon as possible. Although you will probably see me more than him on here as I'm the talker in the relationship ha ha Nice to see so many women into these tears. :D

Hello Everyone! :) I am a newbie at posting, but not at camping! My husband and I have been using our teardrop (Irish Inn) for about three years. We have had such a great time with it and excited to start going to gatherings. We do not have kids so this is the perfect thing for us! :) I hope to get to know y'all as time goes along! :moom walk: Take care.

Welcome to the Rabbits and Luckey. You'll receive a lot of helpful information here. Paul and I found the forum a true blessing.

Luckey do you have any pictures of your Irish Inn? Upload a couple in your album.

:woohoo: Mike, Bless his good heart, drove us over to lake of the Ozarks for last night. We had such a great time. Was the first time we managed to take our TD to a gathering. TDers are such wonderful people.

Pictures are in the North Central---Mid MO!
Rich and Mary did a wonderful job setting it up and making the weather perfect. :R  We had 50's at night and 70's yesterday and today.
