I just watched the Tiny House Big Living series on HGTV on Hulu. Has anyone else watched it? It is really interesting.

Over priced/hyped reality TV to melt your brain.

Only episode I watched the customer was downsizing to 2500 ft^2 container house. I inherited an 1800 ft^2 house and barely need a third of it.

I watch and watch to glean a crumb of a new idea. However, listening to the little lady whine because her 78 pair of shoes won't have a home or him grumbling because his regulation pool table won't fit either, make me want to strangle them. Tiny is tiny it is a couple steps up from camping so suck it up and embrace this new lifestyle of just build your 7000 sq ft home and quit your bitching.

Yes, the fake drama. Currently in a 1800 ft^2 house using about 700 ft^2 and could get away with less.

A class I had in HS, the design challenge was to layout a living space in a 12x12x12 cube that only had a basically bathroom/kitchen, no shower. That was 35 years ago and I still think about how I could pull it off having four levels.

I think that was a separate show where they take shipping containers and made them into houses. I don't remember any shipping containers being used in the Tiny House Big Living show.

I've watched a couple epidodes here and there. My main purpose fo watching shows, videos is to get ideas for small spaces. Our TT is so small. I think it is 10 x 6 x 6 ft? ( i need to double-check that. So learning how to use any all space and still have space to move around was and is key. I also check out youtube and Pinterest. The stealth vans, although expensive, can be done on a small budget. I'm so impressed by how creative some of these people are with so little money.
