The caboose is getting a new look. trim will hopefully be a root beer brown this weekend

Image

I have all the cement board in on the bath wall for ceramic tile :D

Image

The last of the Led recessed lighting is now installed .....

Image

I have gotten the carpet installed in the office area...

Image

All the heat was stratifying in the cupalo so the tiffany light came down and a ceiling fan was installed

Image

I got carried away and even cleaned the garden window :rofl2:

Image

Just to keep my king of cheap crown ..... You might remember the garden window was $10.00 the fan I found at a yard sale this July for $5.00 The carpet was free from the 3 monster new rolls given to me at the hotel we were harvesting all the furniture they were about to throw out. ( P.S. Last month I sold the 3 rolls for 100.00 each ) The LED lights were donated to Goodwill from Duke energy and Goodwill was selling them for $4.00 each. The cement board was free from a fellow hoarder. And the 2 gallons of paint were mis-blended paint at ACE hardware for $8.00 each I forgot to get pictures of the two movable eyeball recessed light. I got them this summer at a yard sale for $5.00 each. If my math is correct that's about $49.00 spent But if you factor in the sale of the carpet I made $251.00

I LOVE FREE ( and cheap is good too) !

Very nice! The ceiling fan will be a big help, winter and summer, I'm sure.

Do you still have the house-in-a-house available to you? I've lost track of that project.

Talk about wheelin' and dealin' to build this caboose. A lot of people made it happen for you. Great job Bob. :)

Actually getting around to requesting the membership form means you did not demonstrate acceptable procrastination skills and you are likely ineligible. I am SURE the membership committee will consider this the next time they meet... <crickets chirping>

ANYONE REMEMBER FAR ENOGHT BACK WHEN I WAS FINED AND RAN OUT OF FRANKFORT, IN FOR PLACING MY TINY CABOOSE ON MY PROPERTY ????

Well last week I had to visit my lockbox at the bank so I passed by the property.

Seems that while I can not live on my own property and care for it it is OK to make it into a hobo camp. Junk tires and crap all over. I was really pissed when I found my now 10" maple trees were cut down for campfire wood.

I remember that.

I would have loaded up all resellable items item in that mess. Then burnt the rest. Then posted no trespassing sign's.
