Nice job!!!....funny how it really doesn't take much to turn a sows ear into a silk purse. 25cents....and it'll give you years of service...can't beat that, nice find! PS....great quilt in the background! Doug
It was kind of nerve wracking pressure testing it for the first time. There was a small leak. Tore it down, tested it again and shot fuel all over my desk I amazed that it worked the first time I tried to light it!
Hummm.... I think my husband dragged home a old round coleman heater home last summer. I wonder where it is?
Thank's. The quilt top has quite a story to tell. The top was made in the 30's by my GG Grandmother Erma. She died in the 1960's before I was Born. Was in the attic of my G Aunt's house during a garage fire in the 1970's. In the 1990's it was given to me and I hand quilted it and finished it in 2005.
Darn I can't slide anything past you guys. I set my camera date to the wrong year by accident. But is still sat for a year before I got the courage to re-build it. This is my first liquid fuel appliance.
