My first rebuild complete

Postby TLC » Tue Sep 08, 2009 3:34 pm

Here's the first of many to come rebuilds of a 502 Coleman stove. It's not perfect, nor is it color correct, but to quote Doug "I don't care"

I'm happy with it and will pair it up with a 200A lantern

Great job Tom! I do have a question for you. What kind of high temp pain do you use? I have tried the several brands and no matter what I use it burns off pretty quickly. I also tried to cure it in the oven like they suggested. This weekend I inherited a coleman stove for on top of my 425E, and need to try and spiff it up a bit before Montello.
Thanks,
Dawn

Nice job. You tempt me to do our back up. Did you purchase a new sticker or did you tape over it?
