Coleman help ?

Coleman help ?

Well I soaked the packing per instructions , but it is still too big to insert into the gland nut, it broke so am soaking another one, .............. anybody install new valve packing in the 425 ? ? ?

I would suggest you call Bob Hitchcock 360-455-1326 or 360-280-5595.

He runs oldcolemanparts.com & is a former repair tech. (and a supper nice guy)

Thanks for the info, nobody has ever changed the packing? mine was leaking so had to do something , the 413 I have went together with no problem

I second the motion. I bought some mantels from him. He happend to be coming down to LA from Oregon where he lives and he personally dropped them off!!! In addition he sent me an oring I needed and just instructed me to put a buck in the mail!

You don't get service like that very often!
